Each year we provide gifts for children in our community who might otherwise not have much under the tree on Christmas morning.
Throughout the school year, we provide food-insecure children at a local school with weekly backpacks filled with enough food to last the weekend. At the beginning of the school year, we also provide uniforms and school supplies for children who might otherwise not be able to afford them.
We maintain a supply of "blessing bags"—nylon totes filled with water, canned food, toothbrush and toothpaste, comb, hand sanitizer, facial tissue, socks, and seasonal items, such as flip flops or mittens—.that we can keep in our vehicles to share with homeless individuals we meet while traveling around the city.
One Sunday morning per quarter, LifeSouth conducts a Blood Drive in our parking lot.
Our monthly Food Pantry is available to those in our community who need a little extra help feeding their family.
Members volunteer to work with residents of McKemie Place, the only emergency shelter for unaccompanied women in Southwest Alabama. We provide office help and sewing classes, and we serve lunch once a month.
Thank you for contacting us.
We will get back to you as soon as possible
